Tablets are, along with cell phones, one of the most popular gifts for this Christmas season. The problem is that, as with smartphones, there are so many options and they are so varied that Santa Claus or the Three Wise Men can have a hard time looking for the right one. But that’s what we are here for, to show you in video (and based on the finalists and winners of the WorldOfSoftware NordVPN 2024 Awards) what are the best tablets of the year and facilitate the choice.
Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro
The Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro is positioned as one of the best options on the market thanks to its screen and battery. Although its panel is not OLED, it offers one of the highest resolutions in its Price range and, in addition, it comes accompanied by a six-speaker stereo system that has convinced us. All this is completed with a well-kept and premium design. For less than 700 euros, this tablet deserves to be among the main options for enjoying multimedia content.

Honor MagicPad 2
The Honor MagicPad 2 is configured as one of the most balanced tablets of 2024. This model stands out for its design and for having minimal frames that house a 12.3-inch OLED screen at 144 Hz. Inside, the tablet mounts the Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 together with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, a very complete combination. It has eight speakers, 10,000 mAh battery, 66W fast charging… It is, without a doubt, a very complete option in the 500-600 euro range.
OnePlus Pad 2
We thus move on to the OnePlus Pad 2, a very juicy tablet that stands out for its design, power and versatility, being recommended for both entertainment and more professional use. Its screen is LCD, it has powerful speakers and its format, together with its weight, make it especially comfortable for working or editing photos. Under the hood, the tablet has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, more than enough for any use. Launched for 549 euros, it is common to find it on sale and it is a safe purchase.
Google Pixel Tablet
Before going to the podium, it is worth stopping at the Google Pixel Tablet. It is an interesting option if you are looking for a simple tablet for multimedia content. Its strong point is the software, with stock Android, very good compatibility with the Google ecosystem and five years of guaranteed updates. The motor is composed of a Tensor G2 chip, eight gigas GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The autonomy ranges between seven and 11 hours of use, depending on use, and its price is around 400 euros, slightly less if we find it on sale.

🥉Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2 inch
We reach the podium. With the bronze medal we have the 12.2-inch Huawei MatePad Pro, a tablet that we loved thanks to its anti-glare PaperMatte screen. It is one of the best we have tried this year. It is true that the United States blockade is noticeable in the lack of Google apps and the processor, somewhat behind the competition, but the tablet makes up for it with other aspects such as an OLED panel with 2,000 nits of brightness, 100W fast charging , up to ten hours of autonomy, case with keyboard and pencil included… A very complete device whose price is around 1,000 euros.

🥈Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra
In second place and with the silver medal we have the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. It is the largest tablet on the list, with more than 14 inches of screen. Samsung has developed an outstanding device in design, battery and performance, recommended both for working and viewing content, although it misses an anti-reflective layer like that of the Huawei MatePad. With a technical sheet that stands out in all points and power for any task, its main weak point is the price: 1,339 euros, although it includes the S-Pen. A high investment, but one that justifies its position among the best tablets of the year.

🥇iPad Pro (2024)
And in first position, with the gold medal, we have the Apple iPad Pro (2024), the best Apple tablet that perfectly combines hardware, design, software and materials. It’s just 5.1mm thick on the 13-inch model, making it noticeably thinner than many competitors. Its Tandem OLED screen (available only in one and two models terrace of storage) is a joy and the M4 chip performs like a beast. Its price, of course, is high: 1,199 euros (11 inches) and 1,549 euros (13 inches), but this tablet is, undoubtedly, the benchmark in hardware and design this year.
