The benefit of the Switch 2 coming out is that gear for the original Nintendo Switch is getting cheaper.

A common issue with the original Nintendo Switch is that the batteries on the Joy-Cons don’t last that long. If you want a convenient way to charge your Joy-Cons at once so you’ll never have to pause your game, reseat them, and wait for their battery to replenish, try the HyperX ChargePlay Quad 2. This compact charger can power four Switch Joy-Cons at the same time, and it’s only $16.99 (reg. $29.99) right now.

Charging with the HyperX is simple. Each controller slides securely into place, and the built-in LED indicators clearly show charging progress. A full charge takes less than four hours, making it easy to keep multiple controllers powered between sessions.

Don’t worry about knocking your charger over. The weighted base provides added stability, while the easy-glide docking system makes it straightforward to attach and remove Joy-Cons without extra effort. It connects via USB-C and is compatible with both standard and OLED model Switch Joy-Cons; however, it’s not intended for use with controllers from the Switch 2.
