Feeling nostalgic for the BlackBerry era? Clicks Technology is back with a new iPhone accessory that snaps to the back of your phone, slides out a BlackBerry-style physical keyboard when needed, and doubles as a 2,150mAh battery pack.

The company’s keyboard cases fit around regular iPhones and add a QWERTY keypad at the bottom. While great for those who prefer typing on a keyboard instead of a touch screen, the biggest drawback of previous cases was that they increased the handset’s size. Clicks’ new Power Keyboard solves that problem.

Clicks Power Keyboard supports both MagSafe and Qi2 standards, meaning it can attach to the back of an iPhone 12 or later or a Google Pixel 10. When it’s time to type, you slide it down, giving you the feel of a classic slider phone.

The purpose here is “to bring fast, confident typing to smart devices plagued by slow, awkward, or frustrating input,” Clicks says.

The case also frees up space on your display. Apps can run edge-to-edge, with input handled outside the screen. Additionally, since it supports MagSafe, the phone can sit on top of the accessory in both portrait and landscape modes, depending on your requirements. You can also connect the accessory to your tablet, AR/VR headset, and your smart TV.

The keyboard itself starts with a number row, followed by a QWERTY keypad and a few additional utility buttons. The keyboard gets its charge from the built-in MagSafe battery pack, which can also be used to charge your phone. You can customize the keyboard for key behavior, backlighting, and other preferences via the Clicks app on Android and iOS.

Clicks is accepting preorders for the Power Keyboard now, ahead of a spring launch. It’s $109, but you can get it right now for an early-bird price of $79.

Want to replace your phone entirely? The Clicks Communicator smartphone aims to assist work communication and reduce social media doomscrolling.

The Communicator runs on Android 15 and uses an interface developed in partnership with Nova Launcher. Messages from apps like Gmail, WhatsApp, Slack, and Telegram are designed to appear by default on the home screen. Notification alerts will display a signal light on the side, and you can assign different colors to each app.

Respond to messages via text using the touch-sensitive keyboard below, or tap the Prompt Key on the side to send a voice message. In the future, the Prompt Key will also support note-taking apps, voice recorders, and AI apps.

“Communicator is to a smartphone what a Kindle is to an iPad,” says Jeff Gadway, Chief Marketing Officer at Clicks. “It’s a complementary product that stands on its own, optimized for a specific purpose.”

The device is 131.5mm tall and 170 grams. It comes with a 4,000mAh battery, 256GB of internal storage, a 50MP rear camera, a 24MP front camera, UBC-C and wireless charging support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. You’ll get security updates for five years and can expand storage to 2TB with a microSD card.
