This Weekend’s 5 Best Tech Deals: iMacs, Headphones, Cameras, and More

I sort through a massive array of products to find discounts that are worth your time, and this week we’ve got some big ones, including a staggering 77% off of an excellent USB microphone, a wall-mounted TV solution that’s a piece of art at almost half price, and much more.

Samsung’s matte-finish Frame TV does double duty as both a home entertainment center and a work of art, with access to over 2,500 paintings and photographs that can display on its screen when you’re not using it. Pantone Validated ArtfulColor keeps these masterpieces looking realistic without screen burn-in. A customizable bezel lets you adjust the image even more, and the slim wall mount means you can hang it anywhere. It also excels as a TV, with HDR-10 support, low input lag and decent brightness. Our biggest complaint in our review was the price, so slashing 47% off solves that problem.

If you’re hunting for a stylish computer that the whole family can use, this 28% price cut on the exceptional 2023 iMac can’t be beat. In our review of the all-in-one, we gave it an Editors’ Choice award for its zippy performance thanks to the upgraded M3 processor, which incorporates an eight-core CPU, eight-core GPU, and a 16-core neural engine for on-device AI and other tasks. This makes the iMac a solid pick for everything from media streaming to video editing and even gaming. The bright bold Retina display is a pleasure to look at, and the 1080p FaceTime webcam is excellent.

It’s not the newest microphone on the market (we reviewed it in 2021), but the JLab Talk Pro is an extremely cost-effective option for streamers, podcasters, and anyone else who wants better voice quality from their computer at 77% off retail. We said that the inclusion of four unique mic patterns thanks to three 16mm condenser capsules gave it a lot of flexibility, and praised its high bit depth and sample rate. It’s a breeze to set up and customize, with nice features like adjustable LED lighting and onboard gain control. For $35, you’re not going to find a better USB microphone anywhere.

Okay, you probably don’t need a cute-as-a-button Fujifilm Pal digital camera, but at this price why shouldn’t you get one? This charming little pocket-sized photo tool doesn’t feature a screen, so you can’t obsessively flip through your pics, and the onboard storage is limited to just 50 shots. It’s kind of the modern equivalent of an old-school disposable camera, but you can use it over and over again. We did a hands-on with it (as opposed to a full review) and were charmed by its tiny size, about as big as an AirPods case, and simple controls. 48% off is a heck of a discount.
