The new W4 AI Interpreter Earbuds are designed to offer cross-language communication in real-time when you’re on the go.

The first of their kind to integrate bone-voiceprint sensor voice capture with AI-powered translation, the W4 AI Interpreter Earbuds offer real-time and up to 98% accurate multilingual communication.

Essentially, their bone-voiceprint sensors should enable the W4 earbuds to recognise speech by detecting vibrations directly from the wearer’s bones. This, Timekettle explains, eliminates background noise while ensuring crystal-clear communication. Not only that, but bone voiceprint sensors also promise to prevent sound leakage for added privacy, too.

While the W4 Pro looks reminiscent of a Bluetooth earpiece, the W4 buds instead are smaller and more portable, which is perhaps unsurprising considering they’re designed for casual use.

The W4 buds are also available in shades of Navy Blue or Sandy Gold, which their ergonomic design ensures a secure and comfortable fit for on-the-go communication.

However, their design helps aid their use. Timekettle explains that the W4’s ear hook positions the sound-pickup microphone precisely towards the mouth, which optimises voice capture for “additional efficiency”.

The W4 runs on Timekettle’s Babel OS 2.0 platform, which the brand hails as being its “most advanced AI-driven translation system”. Babel OS 2.0 promises to provide “real-time language prediction, contextual learning, and custom lexicons” to deliver “near-human speech translation with 98% accuracy”.

Speaking of accuracy, thanks to advanced AI LLM models, the W4 earbuds understand and anticipate the context of a user’s speech and cleverly corrects confusing homophones too.

Timekettle has also teased the launch for AI voice cloning capabilities too, which is promised to further personalise and enrich the translation experience. However, at the time of writing, Timekettle hasn’t provided an exact date for launch, nor given further details.

Timekettle’s W4 AI Interpreter earbuds are available now for £349/$349 from its official website and Amazon.
