TODAY has made a huge change to the lineup after Hoda Kotb’s exit.
Fans have been asking “Where is Sheinelle Jones?” after Hoda’s exit last week, which came as Craig Melvin hosted the show with Savannah Guthrie.

Sheinelle usually works on the show as a co-host, with her sometimes working as a fill-in or correspondent on the show.
But today, Sheinelle was not in, with fans quick to question where she was following Hoda’s departure earlier this year.
Today (Monday, January 13) wasn’t the only time that Sheinelle has been missing from the show of late.
Sheinelle was not on air during the exciting ‘Hoda-bration,’ the name of the show that gave the festivities during Hoda’s final week on the Today Show.
During Hoda’s final week on the show, which took place last week, fans voiced their concerns amid Sheinelle’s absence.
“Sad to see Hoda leave. However, where is Sheinelle? Haven’t seen her since before Christmas,” said one person, in a Facebook group.
Another added: “I hope she’s ok healthwise. And I certainly hope nothing happened behind the scenes and she’s been let go or quit.”
This comes as Craig Melvin became teary-eyed while on set as he stepped into Hoda’s shoes following her departure.
Hoda wrote a letter to staff in September 2024 sharing her decision to leave, with the host departing the show last week once and for all.
CRAIG’S FIRST DAY IN HODA’S SHOES
For his first day without Hoda by his side as he took her place, a very teary-eyed Craig was hosting with Savannah.
While hosting the show, Craig learned that his former co-host had a pre-recorded message for his first day.
“I’m moving forward, so reach back your hand. Grab the baton, your world will expand,” the letter said as it was read aloud.
“The adventures are endless, the people so dear. Great memories await, year after year.
“Day One! You are ready surrounded by love. Your team is the kind you can only dream of.”

NBC’s Today show premiered in 1952 and has bidden viewers good morning every weekday since, adding Saturday and Sunday shows in the 1980s and 1990s. The show’s current host lineup includes:

“From out on the plaza, to inside 30 Rock, your fans are so eager, they’re watching the clock.

SWEET MOMENT
That wasn’t where the emotional moments ended for Craig, because his wife Lindsay Czarniak, their two children Delano and Sybil, plus his mother Betty Jo, father Lawrence, and brother Ryan all appeared onscreen to celebrate.
Craig then became even more emotional, with the TV anchor completely taken aback in a sweet way.
