AN NFL Network star has criticized Katy Perry and the Blue Origin space mission.

The music star Perry was part of an all-female crew that included Lauren Sanchez and journalist Gayle King, who went to space on Jeff Bezos’ rocket.

The Blue Origin launch took place on Monday morning and consisted of Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyen, King, Perry, Kerianne Flynn, and Sanchez, who is engaged to Bezos.

It featured the first all-female space crew since 1963.

Perry brought a daisy into space to honor her daughter and was seen kissing the ground after returning to Earth.

The mission was praised for its historic moment, but NFL Network star Jane Slater ripped the feat on social media.

“The whole thing was embarrassing. So many smart women who worked their whole life to go to space and did the work,” Slater wrote on X.

“She (Perry) took a daisy and promoted a set list for her new album.”

Slater also wrote on X, “If she really cared? Give you spot up to a young girl in the NASA program.

She added, “Guess its ok for everyone just to care more about themselves and personal motivations these days. Very on brand (with) our culture shift.”

Slater did admit she would “love” the opportunity to be sent into space but claimed she “would absolutely give my seat up to a woman who has been passed over time and time again by NASA.”

The 44-year-old finished her rant by calling out at hw Perry and company looked when going off into space.

“I don’t think they truly appreciated the magnitude of the moment. With exception of former NASA scientist Aisha Bowe who absolutely deserved a shot at that flight the bs (bulls***) hair makeup and fits really annoyed me,” Slater said.

“(It) just felt disrespectful to cosplay as an astronaut in full hair and a curated fit… I cringe think what (iconic female astronaut) Sunita Williams had think about it all.”

Slater calls herself a “sci fi geek” in her X bio.

She has been a rising star at NFL Network since joining the channel in 2016.

The Dallas-based reporter works on numerous programs such as NFL Now, NFL Total Access, and NFL GameDay Morning.

She has 111,000-plus followers on Instagram and regularly shares glam content of herself.

Slater is currently in a relationship with John Chelf.
