One Trader Joe’s shopper revealed how you can transform the store’s new holiday bags into the perfect gift presentation.

In a viral video, Instagram user Trader Joe’s Obsessed (@traderjoesobsessed) shared the handy hack.
Since Trader Joe’s paper bags are free, this DIY trick won’t cost you a cent.
In fact, since most cashiers tend to double bag your produce, you’ll likely be set for the holiday season after your weekly grocery shop.
For her first step, the DIY crafter removed the handles from the bag and cut the bottom open.

Next, she cut down the side of the bag and laid it down flat on her table.
Using a glue stick, she re-attached the bag after re-sizing the paper material.
She then folded the bottom of the bag closed, taking care on the corners, to make it extra sturdy.
Next, the Trader Joe’s fan used a glue stick to re-attach the paper handle.
Once the glue had dried, she demonstrated the finished look by placing a bag of coffee beans inside.
For her finishing touch, she folded down the top of the bag to close it, securing it with a sticker.
The finished look was a small gift bag, which the Instagram user described as “so so cute.”
The Trader Joe’s fanatic credited fellow Instagrammer Ayaka Inaba (@ina8ka) with the idea.

One impressed viewer described the homemade hack as “perfect for Christmas.”
