KANSAS City Chiefs star Travis Kelce referenced his girlfriend Taylor Swift in explaining how he felt after the team’s 23-14 home victory over the Houston Texans in the Divisional Round.
Kelce’s answer comes after retirement rumors concerning the 10-time NFL Pro Bowl tight end.
The 35-year-old Kelce played a huge role in the Chiefs win, recording 117 receiving yards and a touchdown.
After the game, the three-time Super Bowl champion was asked if he feels 25 again.
“22 baby, 22,” Kelce said during postgame interviews as reporters laughed in the background.
His response was a reference to Swift’s popular song 22 where she sings the line, “I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling 22.”

The answer comes after Kelce recently opened up about the retirement topic, saying that his decision can change daily while also admitting he hasn’t been the same All-Pro player as in years past.
“It changes every single day man,” Kelce said. “I love everything that I’m doing in this building.
“But at the end of the day, I’m not having that extreme success on the field as I have individually man.
“I’m excited for these next couple games to play up at Arrowhead, to finish this season off.”
Kelce would quiet retirement rumors with his latest performance which Swift got to see for herself at Arrowhead.
The 34-year-old music icon was in the crowd and was spotted with WNBA star Caitlin Clark in a suite.
The pair were seen cheering and hugging numerous times during the contest, including during Kelce’s big plays.
Kelce posted his ninth career playoff game with at least 100 yards, breaking a tie with Hall of Fame icon Jerry Jones for an NFL postseason record.
He also surpassed 2,000 postseason receiving yards, joining Rice as the other player to achieve that accomplishment.
Kelce’s touchdown came during the fourth quarter and gave Kansas City a 20-12 lead, and helped secure the victory.
