For those shopping for a Linux friendly laptop powered by AMD Ryzen AI 300 series “Strix Point” with Zen 5 cores and integrated Radeon graphics plus allowing up to 128GB of RAM, the 15.3-inch InfinityBook Pro 15 Gen10 was announced this morning.
The Bavarian Linux PC builders TUXEDO Computers announced the InfinityBook Pro 15 Gen10 as their newest offering for an all-aluminum body laptop and hefty 99 Wh battery. This new laptop can ship with the Strix Point SoC options from the AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 to Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. Somewhat surprisingly, TUXEDO talks up the Ryzen AI engine performance even though the Linux software support is limited. There is the AMDXDNA kernel driver albeit from user-space the software supporting the Ryzen AI NPU is extremely limited right now.
The 15.3-inch display features a 2560 x 1600 resolution and 500 nit brightness. The 99 Wh battery and capability for up to 128GB of RAM make this a decent option. It is unfortunate though that the InfinityBook Pro 15 Gen10 is only launching now for August 2025 while other AMD Strix Point laptops have been shipping since end of July 2024. The price of starting out at 1090 EUR (1090 EUR non-EU customers or 1299 EUR for German customers) is also on the high side for the Ryzen AI 7 350 + 16GB DDR5 RAM configuration to the other Strix Point laptops available over the past year.
