That’s Oldies (Satellite 360) which is available on Freeview too (Channel 71) has been renamed to family favourite That’s Christmas.

That’s Rock (Satellite 359) which is also available on Freeview (Channel 80) has been renamed to That’s 80s.

Channels regularly make seasonal changes to tie in with an event or holiday like Christmas.

More festive changes

MTV Xmas has burst onto screens bringing viewers a festive flavour of seasonal hits.

The name will take over MTV 90s for the duration of the Christmas period,

But MTV is set to close all its music channels at the end of the year.

The Sun exclusively revealed in October that all the iconic broadcaster’s music channels will cease in every country except the US.

Freeview, Sky and Virgin have also brought back GREAT! Christmas which shows a host of festive films.

So Christmas fanatics can experience classics like A Bride For Christmas, Candy Cane Christmas and Twinkle All The Way today.

Disney Jr has made a comeback

Disney Jr has also made a comeback as a traditional linear broadcast channel in the UK.

It was shut down back in 2020 along with the other Disney channels as part of the entertainment giant’s shift towards streaming on Disney+.

The channel will once again cater to pre-school children aged between two and six-years old.

Shows on Disney Jr include Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+, Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends and Bluey.

But Disney Jr will only return to Sky – not on its sister streaming service NOW, nor rival Virgin Media.

You can only get Disney Jr if you have the Sky Kids add-on package, which costs £8.

The relaunch has triggered a reshuffle of channel numbers on Sky Glass and Sky Stream.

Disney Jr is set to take Nickelodeon’s slot at 204.

This means Nickelodeon will move down to 205 and others will shift as a result.

Satellite viewers are unaffected and will find Disney Jr at 625.

You can also find Disney Jr content on Sky Go too.

Shows seen on Disney Jr will continue to be available separately via Disney+ too.
