kanakanmaniUniversity of Design, Innovation and Technology, has taken a decisive step in its consolidation as a reference in technological training with the official inauguration of its new International Campus of Technology, Innovation and Applied Scienceslocated on Madrid street Alcalá 506.
This event, chaired by the mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeidahas had the presence of more than 100 companies from the technology sector and numerous institutional and academic authorities, underlining the strategic relevance of UDIT as an engine of talent, innovation and knowledge transfer for the Spanish capital.
With a area of 7,000 square metersthe new campus’s mission is to offer an educational ecosystem that combines academic excellence with cutting-edge technology. The training offer includes official degrees and masters in fundamental areas for the digital future, such as Product Design, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Full-stack Development and User Experience.
This infrastructure adds to the spaces already established in Alfonso XIII and Colombia 44, articulating a university that operates in two large strategic areas: Design and Creative Industries and Technology, Innovation and Applied Sciences.
One of the great attractions of the campus is the UDIT Proto Spacea 1,500 m² laboratory equipped with advanced technology such as robotic arms, 3D printers, IoT devices and virtual and augmented reality systems, designed to facilitate interaction between students, companies and research centers.
Complementing Proto Space, the Innovation Hub It functions as an interdisciplinary meeting space to promote entrepreneurship and direct collaboration between university talent and technology industry professionals. Furthermore, the Material library of UDIT It houses an extensive collection made up of more than 7,000 materials, used in sectors such as design, engineering or architecture and aims to promote creativity, connecting university education with the most advanced trends in the industry.
According to the rector’s words Juan Cayón PeñaUDIT has entered a new stage in which it establishes itself as a bridge between knowledge and practical innovation, committing to technical training that is accompanied by ethical criteria and humanistic thinking.
