Vivo is gearing up to expand its X200 lineup in India with a brand-new addition. According to some reports, the Vivo X200 FE variant could land in India by the end of June or early July. This is an interesting choice as it could offer the same photography quality as the more expensive X200 and bring flagship camera performance at a much cheaper price.
Under the hood, the X200 FE is rumoured to pack a MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset, which is still unreleased and could be a toned-down version of the Dimensity 9400. This means that along with flagship cameras, the performance could also be almost as impressive as its bigger cousin.
On the display side, the Vivo X200 FE might sport a 6.31-inch LTPO OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. As for cameras, expect a dual setup with a 50 MP main sensor and a 50 MP telephoto shooter at the back, along with a sharp 50 MP front cam for selfies and video calls. The phone is said to get a fast 90W charger although the battery capacity is still under the wraps.
Some rumours also say that this same device could be rebranded and launched in China as the Vivo S30 Pro Mini, and it’s said that the new Dimensity 9400e chip will also power upcoming devices like the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition and a new Realme phone. Nonetheless, it’s really interesting to see how Vivo tunes the X200 FE’s camera performance, as the X200 has already set a benchmark in the industry.
I live x200
The X200 Pro Mini in China runs on the regular Dimensity 9400 and starts at around CNY 4,699, which translates to roughly Rs 56,000. As of now, we don’t know the exact pricing, but it could be the most affordable smartphone in the X200 series. Most likely, it should be priced lower than the Vivo X200 and Vivo X200 Pro. The exact specifications and price of the smartphone will be revealed at the time of launch.
