Volkswagen Group of America recalls more than 40,000 Audi model cars due to a software error that can ensure that the instrument panel -display fails.
According to a notification that was first reported to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on 31 March, the recall 44,387 Audi 2021 vehicles includes.
Due to an aging flex foil cable, a software error can appear in affected cars and ensure that the instrument panel screen fails, causing drivers to lose access to important functions such as the speedometer, warning lights, speed and gear indicators, mileage and more.
Audi had received 2,285 complaints about the customer from 24 March, but no injuries or accidents were reported.
