A FUMING shopper has slammed Walmart for giving them the “run around” on two orders.
The retail giant has now promised to launch a probe and assist the customer after they begged for help on social media.

The customer wrote on X: “Walmart, please help me with an order that was cancelled on me.
“Your support number gives me the runaround, it’s very frustrating. I had two large preorders cancelled today, and my bank says they never got any authorization request. Please help!”
A Walmart representative was quick to get back to the customer.
They replied to their post saying: “Let’s get to the bottom of this. Send us a DM with your order details, and we’ll follow up with you there.”
It comes after a Walmart shopper was left fuming after their checkout line was left to get “out of hand”.
The customer targeted Walmart’s unmotivated checkout staff who are not paid enough to help, according to the shopper.
Their complaint from August 4 2024 came with a picture showing the self-checkout line piling up without a solution in sight.
The post’s caption said: “Hey @Walmart hire some g*****n people, pay them a decent wage give them benefits.
“This has gotten out of hand. I left a cart full of stuff sitting there and walked out.”
The post showed the scene at the store, with people standing around aimlessly at the checkout while the employee waits at the front.
Meanwhile, Walmart was forced to apologize after a furious shopper blasted its “unacceptable” checkout decision.
The irate customer, called Jack, used social media to unleash his wrath on the major retailer and even reported that the solution didn’t work.
This complaint saw the Walmart user waiting in a 10-minute line because of the lack of open self-checkouts.
The rant on X from Sunday said: “@Walmart 16 self-service registers at Waxhaw NC Walmart neighborhood store, only eight open, had to wait ten minutes. Unacceptable!!”
Another shopper was left fuming after not receiving a vital item that they ordered using the retailer’s “new” service.
The furious shopper slammed the company and asked it to “do better”.
Shopper David Bowlin revealed he tried Walmart’s new service that offers free delivery for prescriptions.
However, he claims to have not received the order yet.
Mr Bowlin wrote on X: “Tried Walmart’s free prescription delivery service today but it never got delivered. Do better Walmart! How do I get my medicine, now?”
A spokesperson for the company said: “Let’s get this matter looked into. Would you mind joining us in a DM, so we can gather more information?”
This is not the first time Walmart has been in hot water for delivery issues.
One shopper blasted the retailer claiming they still haven’t gotten money back for food and drink items that never arrived.
What is Walmart’s Scan and Go?
Walmart’s Scan and Go was made to save time for shoppers
Walmart’s Scan and Go system was created to help customers scan items as they shop, pay, and leave without waiting in long checkout lines.
The retailer describes the new system to be done in a few easy steps:
- Customers first need to have the Walmart app downloaded on their phones with their location access enabled.
- On the Store Mode landing page, shoppers must click the Scan and Go option.
- Customers can scan each item and place them in their carts as they shop.
- At the end, they’ll be prompted to view the cart to make sure the quantity on the app matches the ones in their carts.
- Shoppers will press “Check Out” and head to a self-checkout kiosk.
- They’ll be prompted to scan the provided QR code at the register and confirm their payment method.
- Once the transaction is complete, shoppers can leave the store without worry.
