Apple iPhone and iPad users can now download full seasons of a Netflix show with a single tap.
The streamer made the much-requested “Season Download” button available on the iOS app on Wednesday after releasing it on Android in 2021.
“We’ve heard that downloading episodes one-by-one has been a pain point for iOS members — something we’re now addressing with this rollout,” a Netflix spokesperson tells Variety.
The Season Download button is on a show’s display page, next to the Share button and above the episode titles. Updating the app to its latest version should help if you don’t see it. (It worked for me!)
For shows with more than one season, the button will say “Download Season [number],” depending on your current season. For shows with just one season, like Richard Madden’s Bodyguard, the button will be labeled as “Download 6 Episodes,” or how many ever episodes are available. To view all your completed downloads, head to My Netflix > Downloads.

According to Variety, all Netflix originals and most of its licensed content are available for download and offline viewing. In its announcement, Netflix revealed its five most downloaded shows of all time are Squid Game Season 1, Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, Squid Game Season 2, One Piece, and Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.
The update comes after Netflix announced a price hike for all its subscription tiers. The ad-supported Standard plan now costs $7.99, up from $6.99; the ad-free Standard costs $17.99, up from $15.49; and the Premium plan costs $24.99, a $2 increase from its previous $22.99 pricing.
