watchOS 26 coming soon for all users, here’s what to expect from beta 8
Next month, Apple is expected to ship at least two new Apple Watch models, and possibly a third, along with brand new software for all users.
Apple Watch Ultra 3 and Apple Watch Series 11 are launching soon, with a new Apple Watch SE likely too.
But whether you upgrade to new hardware or not, watchOS 26 will bring a variety of new software features to a wide assortment of compatible Apple Watch models.

Highlights include the Liquid Glass redesign, new Notes app, upgraded Control Center, and several AI features.
watchOS 26 has been in beta testing for two and a half months, and today’s beta 8 should be the most stable version of the software yet.
It will likely also be the final beta until the watchOS 26 RC (release candidate) debuts.
That RC version is expected to ship following Apple’s big September event. That will be the day new Watch models and the iPhone 17 lineup are unveiled.
