We Found the Most Amazing Deals and Savings at Best Buy’s 4-Day Sale

Three-day weekends mean sales, and Best Buy is getting in on the action with a four-day sale starting Friday, 17 and ending at midnight on January 20. Hundreds of items are discounted in almost every category, but we sifted through the deals to bring you five that you can’t afford to miss, including massive price cuts on Editors’ Choice-winning robot vacuums, high-powered iPads, console games, and more.

One of the absolute best deals in the sale for creatives is a massive $800 discount on the incredibly powerful and versatile iPad Pro. Boasting Apple’s M2 processor, this 2022 release still holds up even though a newer Pro was released last year. We gave it an “Excellent” rating in our review, with managing editor Eric Zeman saying the slate “is a phenomenal piece of hardware with blazing-fast speeds, one of the finest tablet displays we’ve seen, and serious multimedia creation tools.” The build quality is as luxurious as you’d expect from Apple, and the battery can last you all day. With a whopping 2TB of onboard storage, you’ll be able to work on your projects from anywhere without an Internet connection.

There are a bunch of desktops on sale at Best Buy this weekend, but the overall best deal for most business and productivity users is this solid HP Pavilion, which hits a nice price point at $120 off while still delivering solid performance. In our review of this model, we noted that its 1TB SSD is big enough for most users but can be easily upgraded, it has a ton of front-panel ports for easy peripheral hookups, and it runs very quietly. It’s not the best pick for gaming, with only one HDMI port and no graphics card, but it’ll do the job for media streaming, schoolwork, and much more.

In our review of the Roku Pro TV, lead analyst Will Greenwald said that the set was “an excellent value” thanks to its picture quality, mini-LED backlit contrast, and high dynamic range in Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+ and hybrid log gamma. The screen quality is top-notch for the price, featuring a nearly bezel-free design and sharp 4K resolution, and the Roku smart platform is one of the easiest to use out there. The included remote has a built-in microphone for hands-free search and controls. At $700 off, this 75″ set is an absolute steal.

Sega’s Yakuza series have always delved into the absurd, as you’re just as likely to help a struggling slot-car track owner revitalize his business as you are to get revenge on heavily tattooed gangsters. The Like A Dragon spin-offs, which transfer the series to a new protagonist and RPG-styled combat, are even sillier. Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth was one of the funniest and most content-packed games of 2024, and in our review we praised the massive adventure for its deep job system, unique combat and massive selection of side quests and mini-games. For just $25, this is a great value that will keep you busy for weeks.
