Siri has been a sore point for Apple users more or less since its inception. Apple has sought to improve its virtual assistant by investing in its native Apple Intelligence program and partnering with ChatGPT. Now, they’ve entered into a multi-year partnership with Google to bring Gemini’s AI powers to the Apple ecosystem. While this should help improve Siri’s capabilities, it leaves me with some concerns that Google’s cavalier approach to user data will affect Apple’s ability to protect users’ privacy.
