Sometimes, Apple gives us hours-long announcements that go over all the details of its new releases, complete with big, colorful graphics and experts sharing technological and design updates. And sometimes, Apple just modestly releases a new slate of devices via its Newsroom. That’s what Apple did yesterday, October 15, when it quietly announced a new M5 Vision Pro, new M5 MacBook Pro 14” (but no 16”), and new M5 iPad Pro 11” and 13”. Continuing recent trends, all these upgraded devices share an emphasis on improved AI capabilities and all use Apple’s new M5 chip. They are available for pre-order now and will begin shipping on October 22.
