AFTER several weeks of anticipation, three new flavor profiles of Wendy’s beloved Frosty are arriving on the menu.
Some consumers will even have a chance to get it sooner.

Wendy’s confirmed on Thursday that Frosty Swirls, which includes a classic Frosty base of Chocolate or Vanilla and the addition of special sauces, will be at its over 5,900 restaurants nationwide starting April 15, per a news release.
The three Swirl options available will include the Strawberry Swirl, Caramel Swirl, and Brownie Batter Swirl.
While most customers will have to wait in anticipation for the sweet treat until the 15th, some can get it starting on April 11.
Those who have a Wendy’s account and order through the mobile app will be able to find the Frosty Swirl options.
The Frosty additions don’t stop there, either.
Starting on May 12, Frosty Fusions also arrive on menus at all Wendy’s across the country.
Frosty Fusions can be created through the addition of sauces and some mix-ins that bring “extra flavor to the silky smooth Vanilla or Chocolate Frosty,” per the release.
Similar to the Swirl, there will also be three Fusions arriving.
They include the Pop-Tarts Strawberry Frosty Fusion, Oreo Brownie Frosty Fusion, and Caramel Crunch Frosty Fusion.
Lindsay Radkoski, chief marketing officer for Wendy’s US, emphasized that the move was made as customers have continued to seek alternate versions of the Frosty.
“We know consumers are always on the lookout for new flavors and ways to customize their order with sauces and mix-ins,” Radkoski noted in the release.
“We can’t wait for everyone to experience even more ways to enjoy our iconic Frosty!”
SAY GOODBYE
While excitement builds for the arrival of Frosty Swirls and Frosty Fusions, a fan-favorite flavor is leaving at the same time.
The Thin Mints Frosty, which first hit menus on February 21, will have its last day of availability on April 14, according to what Wendy’s confirmed to USA Today.
Wendy’s Frosty Flavors

The Frosty has remained a fan favorite at Wendy’s, on the menu since the late 1960s when founder Dave Thomas created the treat.
The original Frosty flavor was a mix of chocolate and vanilla, as Thomas thought that a pure chocolate flavor would be too overpowering with Wendy’s burgers.
Since its launch over 50 years ago, Wendy’s has rolled out a handful of seasonal Frosty flavors:
- Strawberry
- Pumpkin Spice
- Peppermint
- Orange Dreamsicle
- Triple Berry
- Pineapple Under the Sea
- Salted Caramel
Customers who ordered the Thin Mints Frosty could get a chocolate or vanilla Frosty base with a cookie crumble sauce inspired by the famed Girl Scout cookie.
Many Wendy’s fans will likely be sad to see the Thin Mints Frosty go, as it gained considerable praise over the past two months.
POSITIVE RESPONSE
“The hold that the thin mints frosty has on me is unreal,” a customer wrote in a post on X.
“Sometimes all it takes is a thin mints frosty to make a gal smile,” another added.
“@Wendys keep the Thin Mints Frosty on the menu forever or I’ll never forgive you,” a third said.
It’s unclear if the Thin Mints Frosty will be making a return anytime soon after its last day on April 14.
With the six new additions, it likely won’t be anytime soon.
A Wendy’s employee also recently revealed a special 80-cent trick customers can use to get “more food for less money.”
Additionally, Wendy’s CEO Kirk Tanner announced plans for 1,000 new restaurants in the coming years along with a “fresh ingredient” menu overhaul.
