The players of Pokémon who judge only by the first two generations will finally be able to resume their collection on TCG Pocket. The mobile version of the card game had bet on the first 151 monsters to mark the players on the occasion of its launch at the end of October 2024. Everyone thought while the extensions were going to follow the logical order of the games Pokémon. What was not the surprise when Pokémon TCG Pocket led to three generations to land on the side of Sinnoh. Two major extensions and five series of themed boosters later, the second generation has still not been honored … until now.
This Wednesday, July 30, Pokémon TCG Pocket will host its next main extension: Wisdom between heaven and seawith the famous lugia and ho-oh stars on boosters. If the application has already received an update whose patch notes announce the imminent launch of new cards, we will have to wait a bit before you can open it. New boosters will be available in the application from July 30, 2025 at 8 a.m. (French time). The players will have to redouble their efforts (but especially of hourglasses) to succeed in obtaining the complete collection, since the wisdom extension between heaven and sea contains 161 classic cards and 80 secret cards for a total of 241 cards.

An immersive card is already a problem
Having deployed the update the day before the launch of boosters, Pokémon TCG Pocket was quick to be targeted by data miners. The complete list of set cards is already accessible on the net, so pay attention to any spoilers if you want to keep the surprise. But rather than rejoicing the beauty of these new designs, some curious players have noticed something strange on the immersive Ho-Oh map.

The new Pokémon TCG Pocket Immersive Ho-Oh artwork appears to be traced from 2021 fan-art by lanjiujiu.
Entire perspective, wing shape and overall feather size are largely identical. pic.twitter.com/K8aVrERq6r

It seems that the drawing used in play was drawn from a fan art. As the Lewtwo content creator underlines X (formerly Twitter), the perspective, the position of the Pokémon and the form of the feathers are almost identical. A resemblance so striking that Internet users find it difficult to believe in a coincidence. It remains to be seen if the Pokémon Company will decide to answer the accusations. A find made by another user under the legal conditions of the company nevertheless seems to indicate that the Fan Arts can be reclaimed without any quotation. Blow.
Honestly though I think they just straight up do this shit intentionally half the time, maybe that’s why it keeps happening !??
or did they write this bit BC it happened and to protect themselves in the future??
both? pic.twitter.com/8GnoGl94v9
