If you’re looking for something to watch on streaming this week, you’re less than six degrees away from new shows starring Kevin Bacon, Michelle Williams, and tons of other great actors.
On Prime Video, The Bondsman is a new horror-comedy series starring Kevin Bacon as — wait for it — a dead bounty hunter resurrected by the devil to hunt demons. The show arrives on April 3.
Michelle Williams (who is a mere two degrees from Bacon, in case you were wondering), is the star of the new FX on Hulu show Dying For Sex, based on the podcast of the same name about a real woman named Molly Kochan whose terminal cancer diagnosis became the catalyst for a journey of sexual exploration.
Over on Netflix, there are a few new shows we’re excited about, including the medical drama Pulse starring Willa Fitzgerald, the true-crime docuseries Gone Girls: The Long Island Serial Killer, and the adult animation show Devil May Cry.
These titles and many more are arriving on streaming soon. Here’s all the info you need to tune in this week.

Netflix
Willa Fitzgerald and Colin Woodell star as Dr. Danny Simms and Dr. Xander Phillips in Pulse, a new Netflix series set in a Miami Trauma Center. As their hospital prepares for a hurricane and goes into lockdown, Dr. Simms and Dr. Phillips face serious pressure to save the lives of incoming patients, while their own personal and romantic lives unravel. The show was created by Zoe Robyn and executive produced by Lost’s Carlton Cuse.
Devil May Cry is based on the popular action-adventure game of the same name, developed by Capcom and created by Hideki Kamiya. The game follows the hunter Dante (voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch), who makes it his life’s mission to avenge his mother’s death by killing all demons. The animated series will premiere on Netflix on April 3, 2025.
Gone Girls: The Long Island Serial Killer (March 31)
Gone Girls: The Long Island Serial Killer is a new three-episode documentary series on Netflix that digs into the disappearances of several women, some of whom were sex workers, whose remains were eventually discovered on the coast of Long Island in 2010. It took more than a decade, but police eventually arrested Long Island architect Rex Heuermann in 2023 for their killings, though the case remains open. This series features interviews with journalists, police, and friends and family of the victims and accused killer (who has yet to be tried for the murders).
Prime Video
Kevin Bacon’s new TV series The Bondsman is a Blumhouse production, so it goes without saying that there will be horror themes throughout, but the half-hour series also has a little bit action and a dash of dark comedy, too. Bacon stars as Hub Halloran, a dead bounty hunter who makes a deal with the devil to get a second chance at life, but with some strings attached. Namely, that he has to become a demon hunter now. The show’s 8 episodes will all drop on April 3.
Hulu
In the new series Dying For Sex, Michelle Williams plays Molly, a woman whose diagnosis of Stage IV metastatic breast cancer forces her to reevaluate what time she has left in her life. She decides to leave her husband, Steve (Jay Duplass) and, with the support of her best friend Nikki (Jenny Slate), she goes on a journey of sexual exploration. Rob Delaney, Kelvin Yu, David Rasche, Esco Jouléy and Sissy Spacek all co-star in this show that’s based on a true story, and the complete series will drop at once on April 4.
