After all the flip-flopping in name and branding, HBO Max is looking pretty solid for your subscription dollar. Bring Her Back (Oct. 3)
The latest horror effort from A24 comes from the Australian brothers behind the excellent Talk To Me. In Bring Her Back, a pair of step-siblings lose their father and wind up in foster care where their new mother is not what she seems. This one has haunted VHS tapes, cannibalism, demonic possession and a career-defining performance from Sally Hawkins.

Tim Robinson seems like he’s everywhere these days, including co-creating and starring in The Chair Company. Does it destroy his life, to hilarious effect? Probably.

The director of the wildly successful two-part It films returns to the franchise with Welcome to Derry. Taking place in 1962, twenty-seven years before the film, the Hanlon family moves to town right as Pennywise begins hunting children again. In nine episodes, Bill Skarsgard returns as the murderous clown, and a new group of young people must survive his predations.
