But recently, Hunter and his wife, Leanna Lenee, had their home life hit headlines after they were surrounded by rumors of unhappiness.

Who is Travis Hunter’s wife Leanna Lenee?
Leanna Lenee was born in November 2001, and it is understood that she was born in England, before moving to US to be raised.
She is highly educated, graduating from Kennesaw State University with her bachelor’s degree in 2022.
The pair met when they were teenagers and after a couple of months together, they started dating in February 2022.
Lenee previously shared on Instagram that Hunter came into her life at the “most unexpected time.”
Originally, according to Hunter, the NFL player had asked Lenee to go on a date over Instagram, but she snubbed him.
What’s more, after two months with no response, Lenee eventually replied, saying she wanted to be friends.

From there, it was a slow burn romance as they text for another two months.
It was not until Lenee asked Hunter to come along to a friend’s birthday that she did not want to go alone to, that the love really blossomed.
In 2022 Lenee admitted that if Hunter were to be drafted she would want him to play for her team, the Green Bay Packers.
She explained: “Because I love the Packers and my godfather coached the Packers.”
In April 2025, Hunter was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

When did they get married?
After just under two years together the young sweethearts got engaged.
Hunter proposed in February 2024 and only a year later in May 2025 they were married.
On Instagram after their wedding, she said: “You make me the happiest woman on this planet, and I am so excited to spend forever with you.”
Are they getting divorced?
Cut to three two months later and rumours of alleged unhappiness in the marriage have already started the circle the newlyweds.
Hunter and Lenee share everything online, after creating their own YouTube channel in 2022.
On there, they have uploaded videos from trips, engagement parties and also the planning stages of their recent wedding.

However, in July, shared a video of herself in tears, which she indicated was filmed back in December 2024.
In the TikTok, a motivational voiceover plays over the video, which clearly shows Lenee crying and talking to someone, though the audio from the original video was removed.
It sparked rumours of unhappiness at home and potential divorce.
While some fans of the couple believe the video is regarding the intense online backlash she received when she did not stand for Hunter at the Heisman ceremony in December.
It comes amid more family trouble for Hunter after his father was arrested in July 2025.
