Whether you subscribe to them individually or as part of a bundle deal, Disney+ and Hulu both have a lot to offer streaming fans. Disney has the world-conquering Marvel and Star Wars franchises, while Hulu brings the heat with tons of original shows and movies from around the world, coupled with American TV shows from network partners. There’s a lot to watch, with new stuff every day, so we picked out the three best choices for the coming week, and the full list of TV shows and movies coming to the streaming services below.

This Week on Hulu and Disney+: PCMag’s Picks

Night Call (May 20)

This Belgian thriller won the most Magritte Awards (sort of like the Oscars of Belgium) of any film ever, so it’s definitely worth your attention. Jonathan Feltre stars as Mady, a student who makes a living by working nights as a locksmith. When he’s hired to let a woman into her own apartment, things start spiraling out of control. Set against the backdrop of the Black Lives Matter protests, it’s a high-octane thrill ride with some great action scenes.

  • Directors: Michiel Blanchart

  • Cast: Jonathan Feltre, Jonas Blouqet, Natacha Krief

  • Genres: Drama, Thriller

  • Rating: TV-MA

  • IMDb Rating: 6.8/10

Nine Perfect Strangers: Season 2 (May 21)

This Nicole Kidman vehicle was originally designed as a limited series, adapting the Liane Moriarty novel about a group of people from various walks of life who come to a wellness retreat in California only to find that the guru in charge wants to push the envelope a little too far. The first season was a huge hit, with critics raving about the performances from the ensemble cast that included Michael Shannon, Regina Hall, and Melissa McCarthy.

  • Directors: Jonathan Levine, Anthony Byrne

  • Cast: Nicole Kidman, Annie Murphy, Murray Bartlett and Christine Baranski

  • Genre: Drama

  • Rating: TV-MA

  • IMDb Rating: 7.0/10

The Last Showgirl (May 23)

Pamela Anderson won some of the biggest raves of her acting career for her star turn in The Last Showgirl, where she plays a 57-year-old Vegas dancer who has been performing at the same casino for 30 years, only to find that the show is closing in two weeks and she needs to figure out what to do with her life. It’s an incisive and haunting look at the price women pay with their bodies for their careers.
