In the UK there have been well over 450 reports of the WhatsApp website functioning poorly.

A massive 83 per cent of the reported issues in the UK relate to users’ experience of the WhatsApp Website not the app, according to Downdetector.
Thousands of users globally have run into problems with the messaging app and are desperately reporting their issues online.
To fix the issue its recommended that users try to restart or update the application.
Clearing the cache of WhatsApp web may also address the problems people are experiencing.
It’s worth trying the website on a different browser to see if that fixes the issue.
The messaging app boasts over three billion monthly active users worldwide.
Users across the world, including in Brazil, the US, Peru, Italy and Costa Rica have reported problems with the app.
