As we edge closer to the end of the year, Spotify users around the world are gearing themselves up for their Wrapped stats.
Launched back in 2016, Spotify Wrapped offers both free and premium users a look back at their year in music and provides insights into their individual musical habits. Now in its tenth year, the annual feature is undoubtedly one of the most loved perks for using the music streaming service.
Although Spotify hasn’t announced when Wrapped is coming out, that hasn’t stopped us from looking back on previous years and trying to work out when we can expect to see our stats from 2025.
Read on to see everything we know about Spotify Wrapped, including when we can expect it to launch and if there’s ever a time where Spotify stops tracking your musical history.
What date does Spotify Wrapped come out?
At the time of writing, Spotify hasn’t officially announced when our Wrapped stats for 2025 will be available to view. However, we can make an educated guess based on previous years.
Since its inception back in 2016, Spotify Wrapped launches once a year, typically around the end of November to the beginning of December. For example, the first four (2016-2019) all took place on either the 6th or 5th December, while Spotify Wrapped unveiled on 1st December in both 2020 and 2021.
2022 and 2023 were slight anomalies, as they took place respectively on Wednesday 30th and 29th of November.
Finally, last year saw Spotify Wrapped launch on Wednesday 4th December.

We’ve also seen that Spotify has given artists a deadline of November 21st to “be featured in their top fans’ 2025 Wrapped experience” by uploading a clip. With this in mind, and considering that the last four years have seen a Wednesday launch, we can reasonably expect Spotify Wrapped to come out on either Wednesday 26th November or Wednesday 3rd December.
If we were to make a specific guess however, we’d probably lean more towards the later Wednesday 3rd December date. But for now, we’ll have to just wait and see.
When does Spotify Wrapped stop tracking?
One of the biggest questions surrounding Wrapped is when does Spotify stop tracking your data. There’s been rumours that Spotify only collects data from 1st January to 31st October, which means everything you listen to in November and December technically won’t count towards your listening profile.
However, Spotify shut down that rumour back in 2023 by posting on X that Wrapped does in fact count past 31st October.
Other than that, Spotify has never explicitly shared when it stops tracking Wrapped. We would assume that it tracks a complete year’s worth of data, but perhaps with a week or so-long cutoff period to process the information.
How to access Spotify Wrapped
When Spotify Wrapped is available, you’ll be able to access your personalised collection via Spotify’s iOS, Android and desktop apps, or by visiting spotify.com/wrapped and logging into your account.
