According to the latest idealo.fr study, consumer interest in 2025 Advent calendars has literally exploded, with an increase of +420% between August and September! A record which confirms an underlying trend: Christmas shopping can now be anticipated well before December 1st.
Far from being an impulse purchase, the Advent calendar becomes a planned ritual, allowing everyone to secure the most coveted models, whether limited editions, beauty boxes or LEGO calendars, while smoothing out their budget.
In addition, this year, entry prices are on average €2 cheaper than in 2024 at the same period, proof of increased competition between brands and distributors. The top searches illustrate the diversity of the market: Pokémon largely dominates, followed by major cosmetic references (Essence, NUXE, L’Oréal) and toy classics (LEGO, Schleich).
Also note the emergence of unexpected segments, such as tool calendars (Milwaukee, Wera, Bosch), which reflect the extension of the phenomenon to new audiences. In summary, 2025 marks a new stage in the popularity of Advent calendars, between increased anticipation, more competitive prices and an ever more eclectic offering. Discover our selection.
