The only watering hole where the bartenders serve up jargon-free energy advice alongside delicious cocktails has launched in London.
Watts on the Rocks, in Battersea, will provide punters with help on how to save money on their energy bills while being treated to a free cocktail or mocktail on arrival.
The bar has been launched by the energy giant E.ON Next and will be open from November 18-19.
Richie Atkinson, of E.ON Next, said: ‘Let’s face it – understanding energy jargon is confusing.
‘That’s why we created Watts on the Rocks – to turn confusion into clarity and make energy-based chat as easy-going as your favourite drink.
‘Our mission is to help everyone feel confident about their energy choices – whether you’re curious about solar panels, bamboozled by batteries or just trying to figure out which tariff is right for you, our “tariff tenders” are here to help.’
The launch of Watts on the Rocks comes as almost one in two Brits said they turn to bartenders when we want straight-talking, no-nonsense chat.
E.ON Next said its bar staff will help punters ‘cut through the noise and better understand their energy options, with two days of no-nonsense energy know-how’.
Visitors seeking savings will get the chance to learn more about how E.ON Next’s blend of tariffs and sustainable energy solutions could help make energy savings work for them, the company added.
They will be able to sip on Heat Pumptinis or Solar Panel Sunrises whilst chatting to the bar’s tariff tenders.
From debunking heat pump myths, chatting time of use tariffs and educating on EV charging, E.ON Next’s experts will help punters ‘decode the world of energy’ and help them make informed decisions about their energy usage.
Watts on the Rocks will be open to over-18s from 12pm-9pm on November 18-19.
