On Valentine’s Day he gate-crashed the ESPN Get Up show.

Two WWE legends in their own right, The Undertaker and Michelle McCool, were already on the show.

The Undertaker had teamed up with Shawn Michaels a couple of weeks ago to surprise Triple H at an in-house event by announcing he was being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Triple H referenced this as he spoke on the show for the first time, but rather than directing a surprise towards The Undertaker, he instead directed it towards McCool.

And Triple H handed McCool a huge gift by announcing she was set to be inducted into WWE’s Hall of Fame for 2025.

He said: “Well, a couple of weeks ago The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels decided they wanted to put one over on me and make an executive decision and surprise me and tell me I was getting inducted into the Hall of Fame.

“It was an amazing surprise. But the beautiful part of being the boss is I get the last laugh.

“So I wanted to come here today and take a moment to say, Michelle, the Wrestlemania season is upon us, which means the Hall of Fame season is upon us.

“And I would like to tell you right now you are being inducted into the Hall of Fame.”

McCool was stunned at the news and turned to hug her husband The Undertaker, before covering her mouth in surprise.

Choking back tears, she then said: “Thank you so much, I don’t like to cry.”

Triple H added: “Congratulations Michelle, very well deserved and long overdue.”

The Hall of Fame ceremony will commence on April 18, 24 hours before WrestleMania 41 gets underway.

McCool, 45, signed for WWE back in 2004 after competing in the Diva Search competition.

She was eventually added to the main roster in 2006, remaining an active competitor until 2011 when she went into semi-retirement.

McCool would reappear at the 2018, 2022 and 2023 women’s Royal Rumble matches.

She is best known for her team with Layla known as LayCool, which was formed in 2009 and lasted until 2011.

The pair dominated what was then known as the Divas division, and they even co-held the Women’s Championship at one point.

All told McCool won the WWE women’s championship and Divas Championship twice apiece, making her one of the most-decorated women’s wrestlers of her era.
