WWE legend Jim ‘JR’ Ross has been diagnosed with colon cancer.

The 73-year-old commentator is set to undergo surgery.

He confirmed the news in a brief tweet, which read: “Diagnosed this week with colon cancer.

“Surgery being scheduled in the next week or two. I appreciate your concern and support.”

Fans were shocked and devastated by the announcement, with one saying: “Oh God, sorry to hear that JR. Wish you all the best.”

Another added: “Thinking of you JR. Get well soon.”

More commented: “Wishing you the very best. We are all praying and pulling for you.”
