Xiaomi to launch its first AI glasses tonight · TechNode

Xiaomi announced yesterday that it will unveil its new AI glasses during an event entitled the “Xiaomi Human-Car-Home Full Ecosystem Launch,” being held this evening, China time. The teaser poster for the event suggests that the AI glasses will be positioned as part of Xiaomi’s broader ecosystem, potentially linking with its automotive and smart home offerings. Xiaomi AI glasses will come equipped with the XiaoAi voice assistant and a front-facing camera, which will allow users to ask real-time questions about objects within their line of sight and record first-person perspective videos, according to Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun. Earlier, Chinese tech blogger @Digital Chat Station said Xiaomi’s first AI glasses were set to be positioned similarly to Meta’s Ray-Ban smart glasses, currently the best-selling AI glasses worldwide.
