JAZZ CHISHOLM fought back tears while hitting a milestone home run for the New York Yankees following some personal tragic news.
The MLB ace looked deeply upset despite leading his side to a 7-2 win over the Boston Red Sox yesterday.

Chisholm delighted fans when he achieved his 100th home run early on.
But the Yankees ace was simultaneously dealing with tragedy following the death of a close friend.
At the end of the game, Chisholm was teary-eyed as he was comforted by teammates.
And speaking afterwards, the ace became emotional as he paid tribute to his late buddy.
He said: “It felt kind of surreal, I lost my best friend yesterday
“Today felt like a different type of day, especially with the 100th home run coming.
“I’ve been going through a lot in the last 30 hours.”
Chisholm’s latest performance came just over a year after joining the Yankees, who beat the Washington Nationals 10-5 today and face them again tomorrow.
He hit four home runs in his first three games for the Big Apple giants — becoming the first player in MLB history to do so.
Before that, Chisholm starred for the Miami Marlins.
He also spent time with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
And Chisholm has twice been named as an All-Star, first in 2022 and secondly in 2025.
Earlier this month, former New York Yankees pitcher JT Brubaker landed a new deal after being designated for assignment last week.
Brubaker, 31, was unable to find an option, cleared waivers and became a free agent just two days later.
Now he has found a new home after signing a minor league deal with the San Francisco Giants.
On his new deal, Brubaker will report to the Triple-A Sacramento River Cats.
Although Brubaker could still have a path to pitch some innings for the Giants, with the team in need of some veteran depth after losing Camilo Doval and Tyler Rogers at the deadline.
