While Apple’s iPhone 17 series has just been released, one thing still missing from its lineup is a foldable phone. If you’re tired of the same phones every year and want to try something different, then this Motorola foldable deal might catch your interest.

Currently on Motorola’s website, you can score the latest Motorola Razr Ultra foldable on sale for $1,300 and get a free upgrade to 1TB of storage along with a free Moto Fit smartwatch. The 1TB Motorola Razr Ultra normally costs $1,500, and its Moto Fit smartwatch is valued at $200, so you will save a total of $400.

This deal is available in all four colors the Motorola Razr Ultra offers: Pantone sabrab (green), Pantone mountain trail (wood grain), Pantone cabaret (pink), and Pantone rio red. You can check out the deal below.

Brand

Motorola

SoC

Snapdragon 8 Elite

Display

7-inch foldable OLED (165Hz, 2992 x 1224 pixel resolution), 4-inch external (165Hz, 1272 x 1080 pixel resolution)

The Motorola Razr Ultra (2025) is a solid all-around clamshell foldable thanks to its durable design, Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, and expansive cover display.

Why should you pick the Motorola Razr Ultra?

It’s one of the best clamshell foldables

When it comes to clamshell foldable phones, there are mainly two options in the US: the Motorola Razr Ultra and the Galaxy Z Flip 7. While the Flip 7 is a solid clamshell foldable, the Motorola Razr Ultra outperforms it in several key areas.

First, the Motorola Razr Ultra has a 7-inch main screen (when unfolded) with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz. The Flip 7’s main display is slightly smaller, at 6.9-inches, and features a slower refresh rate of 120Hz. Although 120Hz is smooth, 165Hz is exceptionally smooth, and few smartphones currently offer such a high refresh rate, making this a win for Motorola.

The Motorola Razr Ultra also has 16GB of RAM and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, ensuring excellent performance. The Flip 7 also offers powerful hardware with the Exynos 2500 chipset and 12GB of RAM, but the Razr Ultra has a slight edge, and the extra RAM helps with demanding apps and multitasking.

The cover screens on both the Flip 7 and Motorola Razr Ultra are similar, with the Flip 7 featuring a 4.1-inch cover screen and the Razr Ultra a 4-inch one. The Flip 7 has thinner bezels, giving it a slight advantage.

Overall, if you’re tired of slab-style smartphones and want to try something different, the Motorola Razr Ultra is one of the best clamshell foldables you can get, and a free upgrade to 1TB of storage and a free smartwatch with it are nice bonuses.
