Nvidia’s new RTX 50-series graphics cards are a hot commodity, and we’re starting to see high-end gaming machines shipping with them. The 2025 MSI Vector 16 HX is an absolute beast, with a massive 16-inch QHD display that boasts a speedy 240Hz refresh rate to grab every single frame the included RTX 5080 can churn out. The rest of the internals are equally impressive, with an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor running the show, paired with 32GB of RAM and plenty of storage. We reviewed a previous Vector model and liked it quite a bit, and this one represents a significant improvement.

We gave an “Excellent” rating to this gaming laptop in our review, with product expert Matthew Buzzi saying that “you’d be hard-pressed to find equivalent performance for this price or less.” The model we reviewed sported an Intel Core i5 processor, and this one is a beefy step up to an i9 for just a little more cash, paired with an effective and efficient RTX 4060 graphics card and 32GB of system RAM. While the all-plastic chassis doesn’t dazzle, it does keep the price down, and the whole package is more than durable enough for everyday use.

Chinese gaming brand Thunderobot is just starting to find a footprint in the West, but its loadouts are tremendously impressive, and Amazon has a $500 coupon on this high-powered portable for Prime Day. Inside this sleek black casing, you’ll find just about everything you’ll need for a future-proof gaming laptop, including a 24-core Intel Core i9 processor, an RTX 50-series Nvidia graphics card, and a massive 64GB of system memory. The QHD+ display has a peak refresh rate of 300Hz, and multiple high-speed USB ports give you lag-free connectivity. See how it compares on our list of the best gaming laptops.

Here’s a very capable gaming laptop from Dell’s Alienware brand that distinguishes itself with an absolutely massive 18-inch screen. In our review, we noted that the Alienware M18 packed the silicon to make the most of the 165Hz QHD+ display, with a capable RTX 4070 graphics card giving you peak frame rates. (We also gave it an Editors’ Choice award.) While the RAM allocation isn’t spectacular, it’s not hard to open it up and slot in another chip for speedier multitasking. Amazon’s 17% Prime Day discount on this loadout is the lowest price we’ve ever seen.

Alienware’s Aurora gaming desktops typically perform very well for the price, and in our review of the latest R16, we had lots of great things to say about it, giving it an Editors’ Choice award for its refreshed visual design, efficient cooling, and stylish LED lighting. This configuration features a new Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, the second-most-powerful of the RTX 50 series, with the new AI-optimized Blackwell architecture. A $500 Prime Day discount brings the price down to the lowest we’ve ever seen it.

If you’ve got limited space, like in a dorm room or a cramped apartment, consider snagging a beefy gaming PC with a small footprint. This Cooler Master model occupies just 18.25 liters of volume, around the same size as a sneaker box. The internals are really good on this pint-sized wonder, too, featuring a fast AMD Ryzen 7 CPU and a Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card that benchmarked better than Nvidia’s similar GeForce entry. Plenty of RAM and storage top it off, and the motherboard has lots of ports and room for expansion.

Let’s close out with a very capable midrange gaming machine with some hearty components and a classy case. MSI consistently wins our Readers’ Choice award for desktop PC brands, with satisfied customers getting solid performance from the company’s prebuilt models. This zippy little number has a new Nvidia RTX 50-series graphics card, ready to deliver solid visuals and impressive AI efficiency. The Ryzen 7 processor is also able to keep up with all of today’s top games, ably assisted by a generous 32GB of DDR5 RAM. Four ARGB fans keep the chassis temperature down even when you’re pushing the performance envelope, and it’s got plenty of room for expansion. And this 27% Prime Day discount is massive.
