YouTube TV has a secret deal that saves you $66 – here’s how to get it

YouTube TV is undoubtedly one of the top live TV streaming services around. It offers a broad selection of live TV channels that cable TV fans want, including most NFL games, and has features like multiview and cloud-based DVR storage, so you never miss a moment of your favorite shows or games.

However, what’s not so great about it is its price. When YouTube TV first launched in 2017, it was only $35 per month. Fast-forward eight years later in 2025, and it’s now $83 a month. That’s a big jump and a huge dent in people’s wallets every month. Remember when cord-cutting was supposed to save people money?

If you’re a YouTube TV subscriber who stuck with it despite the recent ups and downs, you might be able to score a new deal that could save you $33 a month for the next two months. That’s some much-needed relief. The thing is, YouTube isn’t exactly promoting this deal, so it’s a bit hidden. Here’s how to check if you’re eligible.

How to save $66 on YouTube TV for the next two months

You’ll find it while managing your membership on YouTube TV

To find out if you can claim this YouTube TV deal yourself, you’ll need to open up YouTube TV and head over to the plan management settings. Here’s what to do step-by-step:

  1. Go to YouTube TV’s website on your browser.
  2. Click on your profile photo in the top right.
  3. Choose Settings.
  4. Under Membership, find Base Plan, then click Manage.
  5. If eligible, an offer should appear for two months at $50 per month.
  6. Accept it, and you’ll receive a $33 discount on your next two billing cycles.

If the offer doesn’t appear for you, it probably means you’re not eligible. Why this is the case isn’t entirely clear. It might be because you’ve recently claimed another promotion, or you’re too new of a subscriber to YouTube TV. The deal seems to be available only to current YouTube TV subscribers, not new ones.

One extra step you can try to get the deal to show up is to use Google Chrome if you haven’t already. A Redditor reported that it didn’t appear on Safari on their Mac but did on Chrome, so it might be worth trying to see if it works. The deal was first spotted by a Redditor named oestred, and since then, many users on Reddit have been able to claim it and take advantage of the savings, so it appears to have broad eligibility.

With the rising cost of streaming services, any promotional offer to save a few dollars is always worth trying. In this case, just by clicking a few buttons, you can save up to $66 over two months, which is pretty great and a nice way to kick off the NFL season if that’s what you’re primarily using YouTube TV for.
