April is showering a deluge of new TV shows on Netflix, Apple TV and more of the best streaming services, as well as broadcast and cable TV.

The lineup includes a highly anticipated finale for “The Pitt” season 2, which is likely to resolve whether Dr. Robby actually goes on his “motorcycle trip.” Elsewhere, “Beef” season 2 premieres with brand-new rage and cast members, “Margo’s Got Money Troubles” turns poverty into an influencer’s goldmine, and “American Gladiators” gets a modern reboot if you enjoy watching very fit people suffer for entertainment.

Here’s our guide on the top new TV shows to check out this week.

The vibes: Hot mess motherhood, monetized.

The plot: Fresh off an Oscar nomination, Elle Fanning leads this dramedy as Margo, a college dropout with a newborn, zero savings and exactly one marketable asset: herself. After an ill-advised affair leaves her pregnant, she turns to OnlyFans to stay afloat, all while reconnecting with her estranged dad (Nick Offerman) and navigating the complicated legacy of her mom (Michelle Pfeiffer). Nobody ever said moms always have it together.

The vibes: Rich country clubbers absolutely losing it behind fake smiles.

The plot: “Beef” enters its anthology era as it swaps out its story and cast. Instead of road rage, it’s a generational battle royale. Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan star as a married couple who have a very public blowout witnessed by junior staffers Cailee Spaeny and Charles Melton. Add a quietly menacing billionaire (Youn Yuh-jung), and it becomes a vicious carousel of favors and social climbing.

Premiere date: All 8 episodes on Thursday, April 16 at 3 a.m. ET

Where to watch: Netflix

The vibes: After ghosting each other, besties are forced to reunite. Yiiiikes.

The plot: Big Mood picks up a year after Maggie (Nicola Coughlan) and Eddie (Lydia West) stopped speaking. No texts, no calls, just silence and unresolved everything. Of course, the universe drags them back together at a wedding. Old wounds reopen fast, and whatever’s left of their friendship is tested all over again.

Premiere date: All 6 episodes on Thursday, April 16 at 3 a.m. ET

The vibes: Fireworks, inside and outside the hospital.

The plot: It’s all come down to this. Robby (Noah Wyle) is about to leave on his motorcycle/suicide trip … or is he? He’s finally said the thing out loud to his moto buddy Duke, and several of his colleagues at least suspect what’s up. But perhaps he’ll get a harsh wake-up call from Abbott or Dana or Langdon. As for the rest, Al-Hashimi also has a decision to make about her own future. And the Fourth of July isn’t over yet, so expect more holiday-related cases to come through the ED.

Premiere date: Episode 15 on Thursday, April 16 at 9 p.m. ET

Where to watch: HBO Max

‘American Gladiators’ (Prime Video)

The vibes: The muscle parade at your local gym, on steroids.

The plot: Amazon’s reboot revives the obstacle-course show that was popular in the ‘90s with 24 contenders battling gladiators across classic events like Joust, Hang Tough and The Wall, plus new bruisers The Ring and Collision. Hosted by Mike “The Miz” Mizanin, it turns pure athletic ego into weekly elimination theater, where only two winners claim $100,000.

Premiere date: Episodes 1-3 on Friday, April 17 at 3 a.m. ET

Where to watch: Prime Video

Plus, a new arrival stirs trouble.
