You can set your clock by tech company announcements these days, and we always tune in for the latest presentations from top brands. Samsung has an Unpacked event coming on Feb. 25, and it’s already dropping hints about what we’ll see. The latest Galaxy S26 line of mobile phones will make their debut, and we’re expecting impressive hardware as always.

Rumors around the new S26 indicate a flat front surface and a new triple-camera island on the back. Under the hood, we’d expect to see even more on-device AI features, as Samsung has excelled in that department lately. Reports that the company is moving away from Google Gemini to integrate Perplexity as an on-device agent appear reliable. That’ll be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which brings a serious performance boost over the last generation.

We’re also hearing that the case materials might shift from titanium to aluminum, and a new screen privacy layer will make it harder for people to snoop on your texts from the side. This is more than just an incremental upgrade, with both visual and silicon improvements that make it well worth your while.

Sound cool? Let’s save you some money.

There are a variety of offers and promotions happening right now at Samsung, depending on your level of commitment. You can enter a non-binding “reservation” on the site right now that automatically gives you a $30 credit to use at Samsung.com. That also enters you into a sweepstakes for a chance to win a $5,000 Samsung credit, which will easily cover a new device.

If you’re ready to take the plunge, a full preorder from Samsung.com or participating Best Buy locations on a new Galaxy S26 phone will get you a $150 discount. Those offers should open up shortly after the Unpacked event.

Finally, Samsung is already advertising trade-in credits for the S26 line. An eligible device can get you up to $900 in exchange, so if you’re dissatisfied with your current phone and it’s paid off, trade it in for the latest and greatest.
