Chinese AI startup Baichuan has restructured its operations, stating that its strategic plan going forward is to focus on its core business areas. On March 3, the company dissolved its B2B financial services-focused To B team, with employees signing departure agreements the same day, according to Chinese media outlet 36Kr. Earlier, on Feb. 19, its prompt engineering (PE) team was transferred to its algorithm division.
The company has said it is aiming to accelerate its vision of advancing AI-driven medical solutions. Its AI pediatric doctor, co-developed with Beijing Children’s Hospital, has been deployed in expert consultations for complex cases, with initiative marking a milestone in AI applications for healthcare.
