Chinese phone maker Transsion has recently established a mobility division to explore opportunities in electric two-wheelers and related sectors. The company, which makes around half of the mobile phones sold in Africa, is rapidly scaling its electric two-wheeler operations across Africa and in developing countries on other continents, sources said. To support this expansion, Transsion is recruiting for several key roles, including Country Head of Mobility and Overseas Key Account Manager. According to Chinese job platform Boss Zhipin, the Country Head of Mobility based in Côte d’Ivoire will lead Transsion’s electric two-wheeler operations in the country, focusing on developing partnerships with local businesses and building teams that support customer needs. The Overseas Key Account Manager based in Nigeria will focus on client development and relationship management in the Nigerian market. [IThome, in Chinese]
