BYD and Geely are developing next-generation Level 4 autonomous driving programs based on NVIDIA’s DRIVE Hyperion platform, according to an NVIDIA announcement. The standardized reference architecture integrates compute, sensors, networking, and safety systems, and is designed to support faster validation and global deployment.
NVIDIA said Nissan is also building an L4 program on DRIVE Hyperion, while Isuzu and TIER IV are using NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor for an autonomous bus project. The company framed the latest partnerships as part of broader momentum toward scalable autonomous vehicle development. [TechNode reporting]
