It’s almost a shame Iraq and Bolivia have been drawn against each other, because both sides have overcome immense odds just to get to the final stage of 2026 World Cup qualifying. The 59th-ranked Lions of Mesopotamia and 76th-ranked Verde face off at Estadio Monterrey, with the aim of reaching the World Cup for the first time since Mexico 1986 and USA 1994 respectively.

Here’s how to watch Iraq vs Bolivia live streams from anywhere with a VPN — and potentially for FREE!

Iraq vs Bolivia live streams: TV schedule, dates

The Iraq vs Bolivia game takes place on Tuesday, March 31.
► Time — 11 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. PT / 4 a.m. BST (Wed.) / 2 p.m. AEDT (Wed.)
• WATCH FREE — FIFA+ / DAZN (U.K.)
• WATCH FREE — Bolivia TV (Bolivia)
• U.S. — FS1 via Sling / Peacock
• Watch free when outside U.K. — Try NordVPN 100% risk free

Iraq missed out on automatic qualification on goal difference, and have been unable to play since mid-December due to Israel and the U.S.’ bombardment of the Middle East. The squad was stranded last week and the lack of a Mexican embassy in Iraq created further complications, yet FIFA ignored requests for the game to be pushed back. Graham Arnold’s men made it to Mexico nonetheless, and have kindled quite the local fanbase already.

Losing five of their first six qualifiers forced Bolivia to replace Antonio Carlos Zago with Oscar Villegas midway through their campaign, and despite a dramatic upturn in form they still had to beat Brazil in their final game to stand a chance of making the playoffs. A Miguel Terceros penalty did the trick — as was the case in Thursday’s semi-final victory over Suriname. The Santos winger has now scored eight goals in 12 World Cup qualifying appearances. It’s also been the making of 18-year-old Moises Paniagua.

The absence of Iraq skipper and goalkeeper Jalal Hassan due to injury, will provide all the encouragement Terceros and Paniagua need, but equally, Bolivia have conceded in all but one of their last eight games. Aymen Hussein has also scored eight times in qualifying so far, while Mohanad Ali has three in his last five internationals.

The winning team will slot into Group I, with France, Senegal and Norway.
