Apple announced at its iPhone 16 series launch event that Apple Intelligence will begin beta testing next month along with its iOS 18.1 system, initially limited to an English language version available to users in the US. Next year, Apple promises to release versions of Apple Intelligence in Chinese, French, Japanese, and Spanish. “Once Apple Intelligence launches in mainland China, users with previously purchased iPhone 16 series models will be able to activate and use the feature,” online stores in China noted on their web pages. Apple Intelligence offers smart functions such as intelligent text-writing, priority notifications, image creation, photo search, an enhanced version of Siri, customized emojis, and privacy protection. The price range for different iPhone 16 models in China spans from RMB 5,999 ($842) to RMB 13,999 ($1,966). [Apple]
