Anker Solix presented the solar bank 4 E5000 Pro in Berlin. The device combines battery storage with a bidirectional inverter and an emergency power socket. Up to twelve solar modules with a total of 5000 watts peak can be connected to the four PV inputs with discrete MPPT. The storage capacity is almost doubled compared to the previous model Solar Bank 3 Pro to 5 kWh, but the height of the solar bank also increases and the weight of the main unit increases to 50 kg.

An LED strip on the front still shows the current operating mode. There are also segment displays that allow you to read key figures such as battery level or incoming and outgoing energy at a glance, without an app.
Information about the charging and discharging current and battery charge level can be read on the segment display.
The solar bank 4 E5000 Pro can be expanded to a storage capacity of up to 30 kWh by stacking additional battery modules (BP5000). Up to four of these towers can be combined using the Anker Solix Power Dock, expanding the storage size to a maximum of 120 kWh. Thanks to an energy optimizer, the LFP cells installed by Anker Solix are designed to safely support up to 100 percent deep discharge, so that the entire gross capacity can be used.
If desired, the integrated inverter works bidirectionally with up to 2500 watts. Freshly installed and connected to the power grid via a Schuko plug, the solar bank 4 only feeds in a maximum of 800 watts. Anker offers an alternative connection cable with a Wieland plug. If the storage unit has been connected and registered accordingly by an electrician, the feed-in power can be increased from 800 watts to 2500 watts. Anker advertises the feed-in variant as “PluginPower™ 2.0” and has had it tested for safety by TÜV Rheinland.
The solar bank 4 can be increased to a capacity of 30 kWh with up to 5 BP5000 expansion storage units.
The integrated off-grid connection in the form of a Schuko socket provides up to 2500 watts of output power. In the event of a power failure, consumers connected here are switched to emergency power within 10 milliseconds, which is intended to ensure uninterrupted operation. The Anker SOLIX solar bank 4 E5000 Pro can be pre-ordered for 2000 euros on the Anker Solix website. The Solarbank 4 BP5000 expansion battery will be available for 1400 euros. Anker Solix wants to give first-time customers a 25 percent discount until June 11th.
