Claude’s new Small Business platform is intended to make it easier for SMEs to get started with AI.

Anthropic

The AI company Anthropic wants to focus on small businesses with its new service “Claude for Small Business”. The goal is to encourage more such companies to use artificial intelligence (AI) in their everyday work. At the moment it is mainly large companies that have already invested heavily in this technology.

The new service is based on Anthropic’s “Claude Cowork” platform and offers, among other things, automated functions for accounting, business insights and marketing. It also connects to tools like QuickBooks, Canva, DocuSign, HubSpot, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and PayPal.

According to Anthropic, small businesses have been overlooked in AI development because many tools are tailored to large enterprises and advanced IT teams. For this reason, the Californians now want to make AI easier and more practical for smaller companies.
