In another register than Facebook Plus, Instagram Plus and WhatsApp Plus, Meta unveils the upcoming test of its first paid subscriptions for its AI. The diversification of sources of income is always targeted, especially with the expensive developments of the group’s laboratories, in particular the Muse Spark model.
Meta One Plus et Meta One Premium
Meta presents two pricing plans for its Meta AI service. The first, baptized Meta One Pluswill be billed at $7.99 per month. It should offer users increased computing capacity for more complex queries.
The second, Meta One Premiumwill be offered at $19.99 per month. This superior offering unlocks even greater computing power, allowing you to generate more comprehensive responses and access other advanced features.
A priori, this will not have an impact on access to the free version of Meta AI which will remain available.
Benefits for paying users
According to Naomi Gleit, Head of Product at Meta, these subscriptions will give Meta AI users ” more capacity, the ability to handle larger, more complex queries, and more creative latitude for businesses and creators “.
The goal is to provide premium tools that enable ” improve your presence, supercharge your content, automate tasks and protect your brand “.
Subscribers will benefit in particular from a deeper mode of reasoning AI for tough tasks.
Where and when will these tests be launched?
The initial rollout of these new AI subscription offerings is planned for next month. Meta chose three countries for this premiere testing phase : Singapore, Guatemala and Bolivia.
A possible deployment on a larger scale will be conditional on the results obtained during the test.
Plus subscriptions for the group’s flagship applications, Meta One Plus and Meta One Premium, but also Meta One Essential and Meta One Advanced for creators and businesses… it gets complicated at Meta.
