SDL and safety requirements
In the two-day workshop IEC 62443: Industrial Security for Product Manufacturers, you will learn about the central content of the IEC 62443 standard – in particular the relevant parts 4-1 and 4-2 on Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) and technical security requirements.
You will receive an overview of the standard’s key concepts and requirements, including the eight practices from IEC 62443-4-1 for safe product development and maintenance. You will also learn how security levels and component requirements are defined and how threat modeling can be implemented in practice.
Practically apply what you have learned
Using practical examples, you will learn how the requirements of IEC 62443 can be integrated into development and maintenance processes. You will gain insights into typical challenges when implementing secure OT and ICS products.
