In less than 48 hours, Amazon launches its Prime Day 2026, the biggest shopping event of the year. From Tuesday June 23 at 12:01 a.m. to Friday June 26 at 11:59 p.m., the number 1 in e-commerce offers thousands of ultra-attractive offers for its Prime members.

Notably this year, it is the first time since 2021 that the operation is held in June and not in July, and this choice of calendar is anything but trivial. Originally, in 2015, Amazon invented Prime Day for a simple reason, to boost the number of subscribers to its Prime service. Ten years later, the operation has become the most important event on its calendar, even ahead of Black Friday.

Take advantage of Prime Day offers

And the numbers are dizzying. The 2025 edition generated more than $24 billion in online spending in the United States over its four days, more than double the last Black Friday. We expect discounts on major high-tech brands, including Samsung, Apple, Bose, Sony and Xiaomi. Household appliances, in particular robot vacuum cleaners from the Roborock, Ecovacs and Dreame brands, should also be in the spotlight.

As in previous editions, all product categories will be targeted by massive discounts from the e-retailer: laptops, video games, graphics cards, smartphones, tablets, etc. We have prepared a small list of Prime Day offers for you in advance of the event. It is by no means exhaustive and you can browse the Amazon site if you cannot find the product you are looking for. Among the good deals that are worth it, we can cite the MacBook Neo which drops below 600 euros for the first time, the Nintendo Switch 2 at 399 euros, or the set of 2 Echo Dot speakers with Alexa at 58€ instead of 117€, i.e. one bought, the second free.

Why did Amazon bring forward its Prime Day to June?

For years, Prime Day was set for mid-July. By bringing it back to the end of June, Amazon is pursuing several objectives. The first is an accountant. By postponing the operation by a few weeks, the group is shifting part of these massive sales to its second quarter, which aims to boost its next financial results, as reported by Bloomberg last March.

The second is commercial. By launching its Prime Day promotions earlier, at the very beginning of summer, Amazon allows consumers to score good deals in preparation for the start of the school year. This shift also comes in a busy summer of 2026, marked by the Football World Cup, from June 11 to July 19, and by the celebrations of the 250th anniversary of American independence.

Discover Prime Day promotions

In France, the summer sales begin on June 24, in the middle of Prime Day. Amazon therefore draws out its exclusive offers one day before Cdiscount, Fnac, Darty or Boulanger, just to grab attention before everyone else.

No Prime membership, no Prime Day (but the free trial does the trick)

However, before filling your basket, one condition is necessary. To access almost all of the Prime Day offers, you must have a Prime subscription, and this is no coincidence. As we have seen, the event was designed from the outset to attract subscribers. This is the perfect opportunity to get started, especially since Amazon allows you to test its service for free for 30 daysjust so you can get an idea.

For students, it goes even further by offering 90 days via Prime Student. Better yet, until June 26 (the last day of Prime Day), the e-retailer is offering a three-month subscription offer for the price of one, or 6.99 euros in total, reserved for those who do not have a current Prime account. Once this promotion has passed, the price becomes classic again, 6.99 euros per month or 69.90 euros per year.

Take advantage of the free trial at Prime

In any case, nothing obliges you to make a long-term commitment. If your goal is limited to the four days of the operation, simply activate the free trial, then deactivate automatic renewal before the first charge, to take advantage of Prime Day promotions without spending a single cent.

Prime, a subscription that serves all year round

Reducing Prime to a simple ticket for Prime Day would be a mistake, because the subscription pays for itself the rest of the year. The latter allows, for example, to benefit from free and fast delivery, often within one working day, anywhere in mainland France. Depending on your city, you can even claim delivery the same evening, notably in Paris, Lyon, Marseille and Lille to name a few.

You also have Prime Video and its exclusives, the Amazon Music catalog, game streaming via Amazon Luna and unlimited photo storage from Amazon Photos. And during Prime Day, Amazon is adding up to 50% off a selection of films and series, but also four months of Amazon Music Unlimited and three months of Audible for new subscribers, not forgetting up to 30% additional discount on its Amazon Haul fashion and home store for two items purchased.

You have understood, this Prime Day 2026 promises to be one of the biggest shopping events of the year. Worldwide, more than 200 million Prime members will benefit from the best summer offers on Amazon. As with every edition, the most coveted products are sold at breakneck speed and stock shortages generally occur in the first hours.

To help you in your quest for a good deal, we will sift through the best deals in real time to bring you only the real gems. We invite you to take the free trial if you have not already done so, to add your products to your wish list, then to be in the starting blocks so as not to miss anything from this Tuesday, June 23.
