A RECENT report has been uncovered regarding Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Steelers have waited on the career decision from four-time NFL MVP Rodgers, who visited the team last month.

Rodgers has been without a team since departing the New York Jets in March.

He has continued to be linked with the Steelers – the only NFL team that can offer the future Hall of Famer a starting role.

The world has waited on Rodgers, but it there’s a promising update for the people who believe he will land in Steel City.

Underdog NFL insider James Palmer revealed a hint that it seems that Rodgers will sign with the Steelers.

“Aaron Rodgers has remained in relatively constant contact with Mike Tomlin and the Steelers,” Palmer said on Pittsburgh’s 93.7 The Fan on Monday.

It’s not surprising that Rodgers is a fit for the Steelers – a team that only used a sixth-round pick in the 2025 NFL Drat on Ohio State quarterback Will Howard.

The late-round pick joins a Pittsburgh quarterback room that also consists of Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson.

The potential signing of Rodgers would complete a four-quarterback that general manager Omar Khan anticipates for the franchise ahead of training camp.

Still, Rodgers’ could elect retirement, barring an unforeseen injury elsewhere.

The 41-year-old told The Pat McAfee Show last month that he is currently dealing with personal issues.

“I’m in a different phase of my life. I’m 41-years-old, I’m in a serious relationship, I have personal commitments I’ve made,” Rodgers said on the ESPN hit show.

Rodgers also shared that he’s willing to play on a one-year, $10 million contract for the upcoming campaign.

There is a reason why the Jets released Rodgers after the 2024 season.

Last year, he threw for 3,897 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions.

That performance led the Jets to a 5-12 finish.

In addition to the Steelers, Rodgers has also been linked with the Minnesota Vikings, and New York Giants.

But the Vikings traded for quarterback Sam Howell during the draft and the Giants traded back into the first round to draft quarterback Jaxson Dart.

The Vikings have also expressed faith in 2024 first-round pick JJ McCarthy and the Giants also signed veteran quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston.

It’s either joining the Steelers or sitting back and reflecting on his legendary 20-year NFL career for Rodgers.
